After doing a bunch of research regarding obtaining proper licensing I stumbled upon Broward county Florida's requirements.  While a DBA is all that is required along with a tax receipt (formerly an occupational license) for the county in which you'll be working in for a pressure washing business...in order to conduct roof cleaning one must obtain a Roof Painting/Cleaning license from the state.  This requires one to have 6 months documented experience with affidavits from former employers!?!?!?  Has anyone obtained this license?  I've been cleaning roofs for sometime now but, I've never had to get a license...Is this new?  Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions?
