One Hell Of a deal on a Kynar Roof Cleaning Pump https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-5496-versa-matic-e8kp5bkk9-38-pump-kynar-body-teflon-diaphragm.aspx  This little bastard is made out of Kynar and Teflon, just like the All Flow, but they are blowing them out for only 300.00! A No Brainer

Hey Chris, if you remember I went with the 1/2" poly and am happy with it,..I'm plumbed right into my PW supply tank and rinse the hose and reel at the end of every use anyhow,...I did have to Loctite the nuts and bolts. At the end of the day though not a big deal. Yes, that 3/8" Kynar is a good deal,..and so is the 3/8" poly for $148.00.

Jeff, our Ryan Wilkins of Beacon Roof Cleaning here in Florida has several trucks he outfitted with the POLY 3/8 Versa Matic, and found that the plastic cracked around the bolts in 6 weeks of hard use!

Poly is never good for an unrinsed roof cleaning pump situation. But Kynar, now that is the stuff! It never needs rinsing!

What's the air compressor specs needed to get the most out of these 3/8 pumps? There chart is confusing to me.

Hey John,..I run a 1/2" with a wheelbarrow compressor that puts out 11 CFM. Works fine and I feel no need to go out of my way to make room for a bigger compressor. BUT,.the pump will work more to it's real capacity when a properly sized compressor is used. I never feel under powered though.

Here's the thing though,..more volume is always better,..but to me the main benefit of more volume is it allows the air to cool before entering the pump,...these air pumps are great but they like cool dry air. These small volume compressors don't have enough reserve to allow any cool off period for the air,...and when that hot air gets into the lines and the pump itself, it condensates and creates a stalling issue.

One of the best things I did earlier this year was learning the way a proper air system is set up. I don't use all the ideas behind the proper set-up due to space limitations,...but I did learn how water traps work and also how to cool the air before it enters the pump. This little bit of knowledge has completely stopped any stalling.

Here is a link to what I learned: http://roof-cleaning-institute.activeboard.com/t57963936/stalling-air-pump/
