Overhead Ladder Racks

Every roof cleaning vehicle I have ever had with overhead ladder racks wound up rusting the cabs of my trucks.

Anyone else ever had this problem ?

My experience comes from using old Ford F 350's, so perhaps the clear coat was gone ? But I swear, I have had to junk roof cleaning trucks, because the cabs rusted.

It probably the ladders causing the rust not the rack

Yes Doug, that's what I meant, the residual SH that gets on the ladders caused the rust, even though we rinsed them well, at least I did. Maybe one of my guys cut a corner, but I always rinsed the heck out of them.
