Hey Chris , and everyone on the forum , Happy Hollidays to all ,   I have stayed away from hose reels ,, because of what I heard about them reducing the flow of the chemicals and from the sh problems , leaking , etc ,   but one would look and operate well , if we could got one that would not recuce the flow and last , without leaking  Thank You All     Dabber

It IS possible! But we would need a 5/8 manifold made out of chemically resistant PVC.

We haven't used hose reels in nearly 4 years, and have never looked back. And, we clean many roofs, 6 days a week here in the Tampa area.

there are some guys who hates on hose reels because they say they leak?. But we usually get about 2 years out of a reel and then replace the elbow... So for 350-400$ for 2 years then 60 for an elbow is nothing in this line of work.. I don't see how carrying out all your hose is easier?

And Chris every photo you put up, you see a giant hose reel across the back of the flat bed??

Those are all old pics Lee, from back in the days when we did use hose reels. Our trucks are basically the same now, except they no longer have hose reels on them.

I use a hose reel it makes things much easier and neater. We do not connect to the swivel and always un roll all hose. When we roll up just insert hose inside notch in reel then roll it up.

That will work great, using the hose reel as a storage device, vs running the roof cleaning chemicals through it.

We have big plastic boxes on the back of our flatbeds, and we simply wrap the hose around the big boxes.

We have been doing this for years, and it works for us.

I  have been winding the hose up in a figure 8 , which takes the twist out , works great if you have the room to wind up 250 ft of hose , on the trayler or truck , but I never stop looking for the perfect hose reel , for OUR  work     Thanks To All     Dabber
