He does plan becoming not only a paid member, but also plans to seek Roof Cleaning Certification "The Right Way". He wants to drive down here to Tampa, so he can be tested by me, in Person! (he lives up in Tallahassee)
I am quite fond of Ray, and look forward to that day!
It was great talking with you also Chris. I look forward to the ride down there and meeting with you and also working with your crew. Getting certified is just a bonus!
Me too Brother Ray!
Like I told you on the phone, and you told me, getting Certified in PERSON is always better. Tallahasse isn't exactly close to Tampa, but it is not too awfully far away either. People can question "Internet Certifications", and I understand that. But our guys up North are often just too far away, for actual on the job observation, and Certification.
I like it very much Ray that you are a "roof cleaner who thinks like me". Unlike some here, who are still learning, you GET the SEO thing.
It seems lately I have always got to "watch my back, and the back of the RCIA".
I was just over at PWI, defending RCIA roof cleaning certification.
It is someones right to offer their opinions about RCIA Certification being "worthless", so I posted this "roof cleaning tampa" search screenshot.
It clearly shows that if RCIA Certification is truly "worthless", then why are people searching for The Roof Cleaning Institute, by name!
AS an SEO Guy yourself Ray, you know that it takes many many searches before Google will offer it as a commonly used search term, for the roof cleaning tampa search!
LOL, even IF I tried to "rig the search results" for that search term, it would be dam near impossible, because your URL only counts once, each day, as far as Google is concerned !
OMG, even I did not realize it has been that long! Notice, the RCIA was "around" back then, as an idea in my head!
It was called The Roof Cleaners Institute back then
Guys, I will always try to instruct each and every one of you, to the best of my ability.
My phone is always open to each and every member, for free, unlimited, one on one training.
My "plans" for all of you are quite simple, train you as best I can, and then give you the best SEO advice and tools, so you can apply what you have learned here at the RCIA, by dominating your local market on the Internet.
Lately, perhaps because certain vendors and a national organization see me and the RCIA as a "threat", there has been a concerted and organized effort to try and undermine me and the RCIA.
I have been publicly, and behind the scenes accused of "beating my girlfriend, being a registered Sex Offender, and an active Cocaine user".
LOL, assuming all of the above accusations were true (they aren't), what would any of that have to do with my ability to teach people to clean roofs ?
It is really pathetic IMHO, when someone has to resort to outright Lies and distortions of the truth, when they don't get their own way.
But, what else CAN they do ? Certainly, they don't want to bang heads with me as far as roof cleaning knowledge and experience goes, and some of them are quite frankly scared chitless of me, because they know I can expose them for the total frauds they are, and prove it too.
The RCIA stands for truth in roof cleaning, and products that do not do what they claim, are soon called out and exposed.
I do not care if My Mother made and sold roof cleaning chemicals. If I feel (and can prove) they do not do what they are claimed to do, I will not sit back and allow my students here to be fleeced.
A certain vendor knows what is to come from me ( I think much of what he sells is snake oil) and has launched a "pre emptive strike", in a lame attempt to "discredit me".'
I sure could use a good cocaine connection. You being in Florida you can probably get it cheaper!!!!!
That stuff literally took over my life years ago. I would not touch it, with a 20 foot pole! Drug Addiction is a disease, and some of us have the genetic predisposition towards addiction. It is true that some people can use Cocaine recreationally, that would not be me!
I have been clean (drug free), for many many years. I make no secret about it, because you never know when you might help someone, by sharing your experience, strength, and hope with them, and telling them how you were able to quit using!
I have absolutely no idea where to get Cocaine here, nor would I tell you, if I did. I have experienced firsthand what that stuff can do to your life, and those who Love You!
There are TONS of recovering drug addicts and alcoholics in the roof cleaning business, here at the RCIA, and at several other Forums.
Just as there are many who have past Police Records.
I am proud that I was able, by the Grace Of God, to quit using, and turn my life around. And, I am equally proud that I was able to help others get and stay off of Drugs and Alcohol, and turn their lives around, through the roof cleaning training they received here at the Roof Cleaning Institute.
Thanks Gary, Like many others here, and at other cleaning forums, who have battled drug and alcohol addictions, I was able, by the Grace Of God, to turn my life around.
In 12 step programs like AA and NA, we are taught to "clean house, trust God, and help others".
Anyone who has ever taken full advantage of their paid for membership benefit (free, unlimited, one on one, training and consultations with me) knows there is no limit to my desire to help people.

@ Chris ... I never have a bad thing to say about anyone and I prefer the sidelines when drama unfolds, but I hope you reconsider the decision to ban Mike. He's a solid member to this forum that gives his honest opinion. We might not always agree on certain issues, but Mike always tells it the way he sees it, right or wrong, and that is invaluable to the success of this forum. Mike is well liked, and very well respected, particularly amongst us Northeast guys, and often says what some of us may be thinking. Again, I hope you reconsider your position and any disagreement(s) can be settled like gentleman. Thanks!
Chris, I do see more and more things showing up on the internet trying to discredit the RCIA, and worse yet, discredit you directly. What a shame. It means that the person behind this is very scared of the RCIA and of you. I believe he is doing this because he wants everyone to believe they have to use what he sells, if they don't they can't clean roofs. Then he goes on about the cert. process and how his is the only true one. Funny, theirs is pay lot's of $$$$ to take the modules, and then you have to use only what they sell to clean with. Kind of sounds like another company out their that you use their products, and a surface cleaner. He is so afraid of the RCIA that he has told his "sheep" to stay off our site, but of course some of them can't. I was even banned from his site because I told someone that a RCIA badge would look better on his truck. I for one will stand WITH you. And you can bet this thread will be seen over there. Some people here run back to him like a 5 year old.

Mike called me an Active Cocaine Drug Addict, and said I beat my girlfriend on this forum. He even said some worse chit then that.
Even well before I banned him, he was bashing both me and the RCIA at other forums.

Wow, sounds like someone is scared chitless of me and the RCIA ? I have always suggested that our members post and visit as many forums as possible, for best SEO.
What a contradiction he is. One minute, the RCIA was the greatest thing since sliced bread (when he was here, getting his own way), but now me and the RCIA are "shit".
Thats too bad. I liked Mike. I never heard him say anything like that (Not even in private) He was just telling me I should get certified. Was it trying to be constructive in any way?
I'm betting a lot of guy's here are like me and wish this stuff did not show up publicly. Not a good look.

I tend to agree. This started off as a good thread but since then it seems to have started to head south a bit. If anyone/some or all, would like it moved I will move it.
