Who uses Yelp?

I told her my chit beats Yelp,merchant circle, hotfrog, all that chit.

 

Some big companies, round here, are advertising there.

 

One  is. B & A. That the most under cutting, sub everything out, Spends the most money, Low rating company. Out there.

 

What is some knowledge about Yelp?

 

I dont even see them in my search?

Chris tucker posted a thread "how to dominate your local search" I went down the listing, and just blew it up. Everything I could post my info on I did. Some of these sites are a PAIN to get your stuff on, but they typically have a higher page rank, which allow customers to find me, if they don't find my website.

Surely cannot hurt Mike.  Like Ed I have who knows how many listings but keeping up with them can be a pain.

The one I had the best luck with was Thumbtack when you could post on Craig's List with it, don't think you can anymore.

I signed up a fews years back to dump some keywords and get a few backlinks. First and only time I have ever been there. Started getting a ton of Yelp spam e-mails after that.

I was shown "google trends" by the Yelp rep. We compared yelp to yellow book and I suggested angies list.

Also just tried thumbtack, hot frog, and some others.

Yelp seems top be on top?
