Everyone keeps telling me that even with a box truck I Still need to winterize my lines etc.
Has anyone ever put a space heater in a box truck overnight, cranked up all the way, the space heater, and found out?
Obviously a space heater with hot coils that could catch something on fire or melt what its pointed at wouldnt be a good idea.
But how about one of them radiator space heaters. They are made to warm up one room. Bout same space as a box truck. The one I have in my room If I cranked it up all the way I'd have to put palm tree pictures up, maybe a soundtrack in the background of ocean waves, I'd be sporting a pair of speedos!!! Drinking margarittas!
The cost of running a heater would be more than buying washer fluid or RV anti-freeze. I started keeping washer fluid in my pump and hose reel since Oct. Just spray it back into the bucket in the morning and when the day is over just suck it back into the system.

The 12 volt system is easy. 5 gallon bucket of antifreeze.
Eric said durring the day, the cold temps. Couldnt a vent from the heater be put in the box?
It not just the night it is in the day to!!!We could be in freezing weather for months then it would have to run 24/7.
We dont this winter, but what if next winter you had commercial accounts you had to go do? And the box doesnt sit for 2 months or so? Like Gutterdogs has every winter.
