That is terrible... Some city near where I live, requires a permit and proof of insurance before you can conduct any type work with in their city. Just another way for the city to make more $ and its good for the legitimate business owners. I'm sure the low ballers will stay away from these cities. UGLY... I'll give these low ballers from Florida a call, if they want to clean a roof near Chicago for $1700 airfare included that way the WINDY CITY can blow then right off the roof.

Like clockwork, and just like Chris Tucker prepared us for, the low-ballers are coming fast and furious. I do not want the customers that are looking for dirt cheap. Low-ball customers keep the cut-throats busy, unavailable, and pre-occupied. That keeps the path clear for the good stuff.

 

 

Hi Ugly Bob!  Those low-ballers might be helping with marketing awareness though.  We've got them here now too, yet we've just posted our best monthly revenue ever.  I just remind myself of the wise words from one Ed Thompson - We need bottom feeders the way elephants need those little birds to eat the bugs off 'em.    Wish I would have thought of that!

According to his website, he has over 12,000 clients for window cleaning, why would he need to get into roof cleaning with that many clients ?
I am going to check, but I think he is a guy that owns a roof sh&*poo franchise.
