We've had a number of exclusive deals with a PM/Condo complex and one of their requests was if we'd "power wash and varnish" their benches.  Of course our answer was NO, but we'd gladly restore/refinish them properly.  So now we have this project on a routine basis.  Keeping them looking this way will be much easier and more cost effective for the HOA.  They turned out very nice and will look even better when we get that 3rd and 4rth coat on them during the next cycle.

This same process can be done on used/weathered teak furniture purchased for a song on the internet.  Two afternoons later, it can look gorgeous again!

I sold my aluminium Home Depot patio set and purchased a large weathered teak set for chump change..  I still have 3 more chairs to refinsih, but holy smoke - it's lookin' good!!  I figure I'm about $1800 ahead, not including my (free) labor     I'll post pix once it's done - whenever that'll be.....

Might be something to keep some busy during the off season?
