I was checking my my Google Places page a couple of weeks ago and discovered our Roof Cleaning page was gone! My A&E Painting page was  still there but, when you clicked on it, you got a message that said "Google does not currently recognize this location." I had recently made some changes to my  Roof Cleaning page and figured that was the cause.   I searched and found that Google will sometimes flag pages for this reason and place the page under review until the  new info is verified.  What I read told me it could take several weeks for the page to reappear after the review process.  So I waited and waited and waited and NOTHING!  Last week, after talking about the issue to another roof cleaner, he found that you could re submit your listing to give it a bump.  I did this and also sent an email to Google alerting them of the problem.  They quickly responded and let me know that THEY were having issuse with Places pages and that I could expect my listing to return in 48 hrs after notifying them.  Well, this evening I looked and I'M BACK and at the A spot in most of my service areas!  So a word to the wise,  check your Google Places page to make sure it is still there and notify them if it is not!
