A few months ago someone posted on here about getting a Hot Water Washer from Ritchie Brothers Auctions.
I had a need for a HWPW due to six Wal-Marts that we began servicing on a bi-weekly basis, so I took the plunge and purchased an Alkota Hot Washer from the ST. LOUIS auction. Did the whole thing while sitting at my computer in Tallahassee, Florida.
Price: $820 after auction fees and shipping ran shy of $500, so for less than $1300 I purchased this gently used Alkota Hot Washer as a welcome addition to the Spray Wash Exterior Cleaning Team.
Just thought I'd pass my positive experience along to the RCIA!
Oh yeah..forgot to add that current list price for this unit is $5,990. When I got it a week later, it cranked on the third pull and hasn't had a hick-up yet, after a month of use!

Did you use the uShip program that they offer? Shipping is usually pretty cheap. They just had their biggest auction of the year in Orlando in February. Almost every auction they have some hwpw, some are brand new.
Yes, Gary...I used the uShip.... Bids started out high, but then worked their way down as the week progressed. Inital hipping from St. Louis to Tallahassee was $975....came down to $460 after 5 days.
A lot of the new ones all seem to be from the same Chinese/Canadian MFG, kind of scare me! I was really happy to find a gently "pre-loved" American made one!
