Life is good bro! Do you really need hot water or is what we have here is some big boys buying big toys, lol?!? I dropped a big load last year for hot water and I have yet to use it. Im waiting for that big $99-every-three-month contract to get a piece of gum off the sidewalk.

Eric, have you ever used a 8 gpm machine. I have only heard good things about the extra flow. I'll know this summer how much better it is. I didn't have the money to go new, so I bought used.

Eric, please allow me to dissuade you from your brand choice. A Hydro Tek offers much higher quality and dependability. I sell both, and have seen the differences.

I purchased a Landa 5gpm 4000psi hot water unit from Konchel Equipment in Elverson PA for $5900 ... could've gotten a less expensive unit but I like that he's only 30 minutes from me. Next time I'll probably get more gpm, but for the time being it definitely suits my needs. In the summer I never use the hot water but it definately came in handy from Oct-Dec and it's clutch if you can land commercial flatwork during the winter.

Haven't had a single problem with this unit, I'll definetly get a Landa again and don't mind paying an extra $500 or so for the local service.

Remember you can always add hot water to any cold water unit. I finding it cheaper to buy the units separately. Iam seeing the hot water heaters from $1500-$2000. Just some food for thought.

I believe a professional power washing company should have a hot water unit on board. Hot water is often needed to blend powder chemicals, it is needed to help remove failed finishes on decks, hot water is often needed to clean concrete, stone, other type of hard surfaces.

Now days 7 out of 10 customers ask over the phone " do you use hot water equipment"? It separates you from the rookie. The customer don't like when you pull up in a pick up truck with a Home depot machine, they already have one of those sitting in their garage, they want to hire a professional.

I'm glad to see customers are getting wise, they have been burned too many times by beginners. I hear it time after time.

Another big advantage is having a large holding tank, because the water is usually warm coming out of the tank oppose to 50 degree water coming directly out of a water sighot. Warm water is actually sufficient most of the time.

I wouldn't do with out a hot water machine.
