If you straddle a ladder across the tile and stand on the ladder will it still be possible to break them? I weigh a lot 260lbs
Not a stupid question. First go on a diet. lol You will live longer.
"Straddle a ladder across the tile" I assume that you are using a standoff. Make sure the standoff goes in the valley of the tile. If it rests on the crown it can break it. You will not get me on a ladder on a 2 story tile roof without a standoff. Too slippery. Good luck!

Marcus even though pretty much all my weight will be on the ladder, the ladder will be set something like a 60 degree angle

Are you using a standoff stabilizer on the ladder? If so the standoff should rest in the valley of the tile in its center and should not break the tile. Why a 60 degree angle? Is this a one story?
