Looks good Art but, I think instead of offering a % off, you should offer a $ amount off. My wife learned in one of her marketing classes that when you offer say $25 off the consumer will assume that the price would be a couple of hundered dollars. Like a grocery store coupon give you $1 off, you assume the product is only a couple of dollars. But, when you give a % off, they have no idea or "guestimate" what the price may be and may not call because they assume the price is greater than they would be willing to pay. I did a % off on my post cards last year and didn't get that great of a ROI. But, that is just my opinion. Hope this helps.
The area where it has the 5% off will be inexistent right? That is where the doorknob would be. I would also add a "call to action" you need to tell the homeowner exactly what you want them to do.
I don't put them on the door nob Zac. I put them in the mail box flag. As for the 5% off I changed it to $25.. I like it on the dot hole. I can remove it if needed. I drive around and if I see a house that needs cleaning I put it on the Mail box flag. I get a good return on them.
Good idea using the punch out hole Art. I have a ton of hangers that I had made that I wish didn't say $50 off - certain times of the year. I wish I could rip that off when I wanted.
Barry There are times when you throw a low price at a home owner and you can't give or already have givin them the dicount. You just pop it out. The door hanger has all your company Info on it. It can be a good tool to get the job. Instead of a card you hand them the door hanger. They work for me.

I can't believe you get away with putting stuff on the flag, our mail carrier will remove it then call to tell you the next time you do that they will count the pieces and charge you accordingly
where I live you are not allowed to put anything on the post, on or in the box, or on the flag, period.
this past summer I got this bright Idea that I would have my helper sit on the edge of the truck while I drove, he would plaster a super sticky advertisement on the side of the mailbox, and the mail carrier took em all off. boy I thought I was really onto something. I guess only common sense tells you right from wrong?
My understanding of mail boxes is the whole box is off limits. Even a mail slot that does not fall onto the floor inside but rather a catch box is still federal property. I believe that is the issue too, not subject to local or state interpretations. Maybe others can verify so a good marketing piece does not cause problems.
The Post office only owns the inside of the box Clyde. You can put in on the outside. If you get a carrier that bitches. just move on to the next town
that is not what they told me, they told me the post, box, flag is their property, which only makes sense. I mean how could it be other wise you are beating them out of postage. Could you imagine people putting dozens of advertisement on the post, box, and flags, but as long as you don't put in the box it's ok? I don't think so!
Art, what program do you use to design these? Where do you get them printed? I think the $off is a better idea than percent. Also the newspaper slot is fair game, I use to do it for landscaping advertisement. Little off topic but anyone try their church bulletin? Results?
