no charge just5.50 a month and when they call you get a email that someone call you,so you never hear it ring you just get a email that you have a voice mail. I like it for 60 a year
I don't get it? you never hear it ring? well what is the point of having a phone if you can't hear it ring? You just get a voicemail after you missed the call?
wow $300 a year, or 5.50 a month? something is wrong? you guys ever hear of one box ? Is ring central good, with call forwarding or ringing to multiple phones?
The $300 includes everything, all the bells & whistles and the service is good ... sounds like a lot and you could probably find something cheaper, but it's less than $6 a week which isn't really that expensive when you look at it that way.
Why are you planning on getting an 800 number? I had initially planned on doing a lot of business in NJ as I have friends/family there. That idea lastedabout 2 days and I hardly get any calls from it, maybe 3-4 calls all year if that.
The only time I find it useful is if you're advertising commercial and corporate headquarters are out of state. Also, it portrays a more professional presentation.
When I started I liked the idea of doing something like 800-xxx-WASH, but since so many people only use their cell phone the corresponding letters aren't on the keypad so that's a marketing technique that's becoming less and less popular and will soon become obsolete.

You are a very wise man. The only reason I wanted the 800 number was to look more professional. Rather than just calling a local number, your calling a business. I also wanted to use a number like 800-xxx-Apex. Anything to get the customer to remember the number, or remember the name for a google search, but I think your right about people using cell phones. and that technique becoming obsolete.
The only real purpose for an 800 number is a vanity number. It makes it very easy and recognizable for the customer. 888-WASH-360 is much easier to remember than 610-842-2104 when you see my yard sign, post card (as it is getting thrown away), truck lettering ect. It is a part of every piece of advertising I do because people can easily remember the vanity number. Even if they don't remember it when they are ready to call, they will recognize it when they are looking for it online or in a piece of advertising that has other exterior cleaning companies in it.
The more times I put that number in front of people, the more likely it is that they will call it.

It was a setting now when they call the phone rings not bad for 5.50 a month. I have had some people use the number and gor a job from them so it has paid off.
