Ok, so I am sure someone will make jokes about the name, but I've been using this Teflon lube for about a year on all my quick-connect fittings for the PW and gun/tips connections.... Its a teflon lube that it not petroleum based, so it will not eat up rubber gaskets/rings etc.
It is chemical resistant, and I've found it does a great job of keeping metal to metal parts that from rusting together.
You probably wont find it at Lowes or HD.... I didnt.... I get it from the local swiming pool supply place. They sell it for when they sell you a filter gasket to replace. You use it around the rubber gasket to lubricated it.... and since pools have chlorine in them, this stands up to it..... Its also rated for up to 425F for those of us using hot water.
Thought I'd pass the tip along for those of us where its still warm enough to work!! and for the rest of everyone up north, get some in preparation for spring!
