The ONLY time we direct mail anything, is IF we mail it ourselves.

The scam goes like this "we will mail your offer to 125,000 homes for 3500.00"

They seldom if Ever mail as many as claimed

I used a NJ co. called Affiliated Direct Mail. Postcard Mania wanted $4000 for the same job. It was 12,000 pieces printed and mailed. I had KBK design the card. It was targeted to homeowners with x amount of income. I did this twice already for roof cleaning with ok to mixed results.

I really like the folks at Postcard Mania. They have great personalities and seem genuine. I may give them a shot in the Spring for roofs. I dont really have the capacity right now to put together my own card and deal with the post office. Too much stuff on my plate.

I dealt with the post office for their program last month and they didn't really know what to do, but they delivered them as far as I can tell, but you can't track this at all. I got 3 calls out if 2,500 and it was a nice card from Keith. Giving it another shot with a gutter cleaning/covering and window cleaning card this week.

Hopefully more will bite on that card before the end of the year, Ed. What did you target with the mailer (age, income, home value, etc)?
