 Agreed, I thought the main point of this BB was to help contractors...

 Miracle grow HAS worked for us in the past on some of the rare times that the customer did not follow the post roof cleaning instuctions on the flyer that we provide them. The problem right now is that we are going into winter and re-growth is a very slow process. If applying Miracle grow to the soil is an option just remember that Rome wasn't built in a day. It will still take up to 30-45 to start filling back in with new foliage.

Simon, when you clean a customers roof you are lucky if that customer refers you to someone else.  But if you harm their plants they will tell everyone about you in a way that you do not want.

Soooooooooo kidding about the salt, yorkie! Please don't try that. Depending on the severity of the burn, 1) trim the tops of the hedge, 2) Replace the plants, 3) do nothing and let it grow out. If the leaves are dead/fried, no amount of anything will revive dead leaves. If they are just wilted, lots of water and some plant wash or miracle grow may help. There was something else too...oh yeah...

Yorkie will not become a premium member, he is really just out for himself. That is why it is so important for a customer to find this site and hire a PREMIUM/CERTIFIED member. Yorkie is again asking for a quick simple solution to his inexperiance, that caused his customer a bigger problem. Unfortunately for this customer and his future customers they have made a mistake. Yorkie is not doing anything for this customer that may cost Yorkie money, his reputation I would bet is already tarnished from previous work in other fields. When we " just help " a person like this, who has no intention of learning the proper way it reflects poorly on all of us!
