Well, for the past two years, I've been part timing it with only a dream of going full time. My first year was pathetic, but at this point, I feel armed with plenty of knowledge and skills to take Extreme Cleaning Solutions to the next level.

I don't think you can truly run a business to the best it can be by doing it part time, and even if you do manage to run it pretty good, your family ends up suffering because you're working you butt off doing 40 + hours at your "regular job" and an equal amount 7 days per week at your "part time job." Juggling a schedule like that is more work than I expected and it would be impossible to actually grow a business unless you drop the security blanket and give your 100% best effort to growing your business.

My business kept up with my full time salary without much more advertising other than facebook and my website. Thanks to the folks here, we tripled our income from last year and have had steady work nearly every week.

I made plenty of mistakes along the way, and I'm sure I'll make plenty more when doing this full time, but I love every minute of it and I'm light years ahead of where I was when I first decided that I wanted to start cleaning for a living.
