I am doing this job where part of thr roof runs on to a vinyl covered area that will eventually be used as a patio, right now its basically a roof over an addition, with vinyl as its surface and at the bottom of the roofs edge is where the vinyl starts, so when I spray the roof, the LUV will run right on to it.
Might want to wet it down, then tarp it, have your ground guy keep water on it, remove tarp after the luv stops dripping from the drip line/roof edge and rinse down the patio real good.
If im following you, the vinyl starts at the roofs edge { no gutters so it will continue onto the vinyl } If thats the case I would not worry about the vinyl, but I would water it first and if possible during, then rinse the vinyl off when finished.
Nick, I'm confused, is the vinyl part of a roof system or a vinyl tile/sheet on the ground? Can you post any photos? The mix shouldn't harm the vinyl either way, it should just clean it.
Im trying to follow this also , is this vinyl siding? is so just wash it first, then do the roof , wait a few for the roof to clean up then rinse vinyl, this will keep vinyl from streaking...

this tis an addition they added to the back of the house and the roof part was suppose to be a sun deck but they have never used it as a sun deck so it is a roof made of vinyl patio flooring also how long does the mix take to turn to salt?
