So...we've been doing plenty of smaller residential projects and a few smalle commercial ones (just finished a 1200 sq ft commercial bldg about an hour ago). But...I've been pursuing two Fire Stations in my area since I kept driving down the street and seeing them and then finally stopped in and left a card. Today I shook hands on the deal with the Captain! He said he had several pressure washing companies come in but non exhibited any degree of professionalism or knowledge and non were as persistant! He also said we were the only ones who stressed that we always rig up for safety. That is something those guys stress to the maximum and it sealed the deal!
23,000 square feet. Easy roofs to walk on too. Lot of Algae and GM. I ended up giving them a very good deal (I'll still make $$) because I want this as a feather in my cap, because one station is VERY visible from the road and is across the street from a very large retreat complex I am pursuing...and because the Captain is hooked in with all the other fire stations in the area and they'll need it too. I posted in the public section as well and will get some pics up.
Well...the guys started today. We were fighting mother nature today. Could't start until noon because it was freezing last night. Then the guys got 60% thru the first building when the heavens opened up...forecast said dry. I'm just hoping that we won't have to re-treat a good portion if the Love got rinsed off before the moss had a chance to soak it all up. The GM contrast is epic...I'll get some pics tomorrow.
