Soft Washing in Tallahassee - Killearn Lakes

This is a follow up on my previous post of doing a soft wash roof cleaning in cold weather on Saturday. The morning started off @ 39 deg. and by the time we arrived it warmed up to a comfortable 45 deg. We bumped up the SH in our mix by 5% and that did the trick. No second application needed due to the lower tempetures.

These pictures will never make it to the portfolio and are really not even worthy of posting them here because of the poor lighting and shading from the large oak tree canopy. Just thought I'd add them for some filler..  biggrin

Nice job Ray!  I hate it when the trees do not do your work justice due to the shade.  The grounds man must have been busy withou gutters...

Thanks for the kind words guys. And yes Markus...the ground guy was non stop. They had ferns that they absolutly did not want anything to happen to...directly under the drip line. I drove my ground guy crazy but it's my butt...not his if someone requests a few plants to be replaced.  biggrin

That's me Pat..lol

Ray, if you are in the area, try to get another picture from the same angle as the first one on a semi cloudy day, that way the tree shadows won't show. That would be a nice before and after.

Ray...looks like the drought continues...but Friday looks like a winner. We need a tropical depression to sit over us for a week! Lake Jackson could use a few inches!

I see that we are not the only ones in a drought...  20" below normal...  I lost 5 pine trees last week.  We have a 50/50 chance of rain on Thursday also.  I think I will go do a rain dance.

Marcus, I think were are 20 inches below normal to here in the big bend and Tallahassee area. Biggest problem is that we've had a high deficit for the last few years. Our lakes are all several feet below normal. We've not had the luxury of a tropical storm/ depression parking itself on us and dumping 8-10 inches of rain on us for several years.

....The other Tallahassee Ray
