I've changed my signature and avatar with the new logo. It's coming together slowly but surely. I used Logo Guru for some logo help. That's quite a concept if you've never seen the site. For a few hundred bucks you can get almost a hundred different logo designs for your company from a bunch of different designers.
Affordable Roof Cleaning of Texas is proudly associated with Craddock Roofing. I'm still working on the website but it's up and running also. Now I need to finish the trailer build.
Gary, I changed the file size on both. Is that better?
I see NO change. Still scrools very slowly. Anybody else having this problem?
It's still coming up grainy in my browser.
Tom, I dragged your signature file into PSP and in a couple of clicks resized to 600x450, compressed it, and saved it as a arcot.png. It's 29k now vs the the origional 500k. You can make several itterations of the big file for various uses; logo, headings, footers, business forms, etc.
Below is what it looks like after I played with it for a couple of seconds in PSP. I make no claim to this file, it's the property of ARCOT; Affordable Roof Cleaning of Texas and I was simply trying to help a guy out here.
Tom, if you are going to put a large file on your web page (pic file), you can open it with Photoshop, if you have it, and "save for web sites and devices" and it will alter the image to allow your web page to load faster, etc.. A picture can definitely slow a site down and that means people will be hitting the X instead of looking at what you have to offer.

Roof Cleaning and Pressure Washing in Anne Arundel County, and Howard County, Maryland
I believe I've changed to the reduced the file size now on both the signature and the avatar. Is it loading faster now? I don't have Photoshop nor do I have the Photoshop skills to own the program. Thanks for the help Paul!
Marcus - Is that old and wise? I refuse to grow up! Hopefully one day I'll be out there competing with you, these days I'm just trying to get my ducks in a row. I'm in the midst of building my rig now. I've got 99% of my equipment and and trying to figure out where to bolt it down and hook it all up. Got a couple of jobs sold to past roofing customers. Can't wait to be rock n rolling. Just in time for the cool weather. Do you keep roof cleaning throughout the the winter?
Normally business dies shortly after Thanksgiving and does not pick up again till late February. So take your time laying out your system. Lay it out and take a week to poke holes in your layout and try another layout and reapeat. I went through 6 layout changes when putting my latest trailer together a couple of years ago. You can see it on my web site.
Unfortunately business is practically dead at the moment either due to the economy or the drought. I sure hope to get a Thanksgiving rush. We also power wash & pressure wash besides roof cleaning.
