@Jason -  I have some aluminium in the bed of my rig, and it's held up quite well to the SH as compared to the steel in the bed.  Chris T posted a chart of various metals and how they stack up to SH here somewhere.  That would give you some hard facts to work with.

@Bob - I like the black.  There are SO many white commercial trucks on the road that the black is a nice change of pace AND your logo does indeed really POP! But......  black is super tough to keep looking real clean.  You Ugly fellas may end up doing a lot of truck washing to keep them looking spiffy.  A small price for good marketing.  Can't wait to see the finished rigs.

Definitely pops better on black. I work out of a 6.5' bed and it is definitely a tight squeeze..

We started with a trailer then moved into a box truck and now we are moving into a truck. The trailer worked great it just wasn't our style so we grabbed a box truck which also worked great but it was to big and cumbersome so we are going to try just working out of a 6 1/2 foot truck bed...ouch! Currently we are designing our tank and aluminum rack system.  wink

I will miss the rolling box truck billboard. We would watch people dial our number as they were driving along side us then all of a sudden our phone would ring  biggrin  hopefully that will still happen.

We were undecided between black or white truck but we think the logos will pop better on the black?  confuse

Put it on the black!  Besides, you can fit that truck in your garage, so if you don't drive through puddles it won't need to be washed too often.  My p/u truck is black over gray & the gray bottom is a blessing.

White and Black look good. Losing the moving bill board would keep me up at night, but those graphics are catchy , almost need sunglasses .  Is it realistic to work out of a 6.5 truck bed. Only reason i ask is because i have a truck with 6.5 bed and i thought it wasnt enough room.

I have a 6.5 foot bed. Plenty of room for roof cleaning. Not enough though too add a pressure washer.

Brian feel free to call. I have a 125 gallon tank. 12 volt pump. Ladder racks or a cap will help but when I first bought my truck I was using the werner little giant type ladder and that took up extra room in the bed. Depending on the size of roofs you're cleaning you should be able to carry enough sh to easily clean 5 roofs.

At first I was fighting the yellow but the more I look at it I think black vinyl graphics might look pretty cool. I'm still looking to put some kind of lining inside for preventative maintenance as well as some sort of ventilation in the roof to exhaust the SH fumes. Any ideas would be appreciated, I'm still deciding on the layout in the back as far as where I should put what. I think I'm pretty sure she's gonna get fitted with an air/all-flow system which adds more fumes into the equation. She's a 20 ft diamond in the rough and boy am I excited.

Art, I'm excited about all the space, just trying to decide how to use it best. This cold snap in Indiana has slowed down my work on her for now.

Just plug in a electric heater. It will heat the inside in no time. I had one of them back in the day. Great to work out of. I even had a bathroom in mine. I cut a clorox bottle in half and conected a hose to it and stuck it threw the floor. The good ol days

That rig is going to be one hell of a rolling bill board with tons of advertising space.

With that truck if the roof cleaning biz fails you can sublet it to the FBI for a surveillance vehicle!
