At American-ProTech, we take immense pride in our work. Some times, the very large, impressive homes, can be very rewarding as we step back and admire our own results;a roof looking as it should with no unsighlty or embarassing roof stains.
Yet it's not always the stately homes that leave the lasting impressions with us. In the case of the Fairfax home below, it was extremely rewarding albeit for a different reason.
The man of the house is vision imparied as a result of stroke. During our telephone consultation with him, he stated clearly that his son had found moss on top of the roof and that's all that he wanted taken care. (We never use any high pressure sales tactics with any client, but especially not a senior. So we quoted exactly what he wanted, and at our Sr Citizen rates.)
Upon completion of the roof cleaning, where the moss was eradicated as agreed, there was no way we could back that truck out of the driveway leaving the front of the home (Mansord roof) looking like that. So we did the whole roof, and didn't ask a penny for it.
When the lady of the home was asked to come have a look, she looked very concerned for a moment, thinking we'd done far more than she'd bargained for. We quickly told her that it was on us, and there was no charge. Her look of concern quickly turned to a look of relief and then a look of happiness. Her home looked very pretty once again, with curb appeal restored.
Doing the right thing feels pretty darn good. Maybe others have done, or will do the same for our Senior Citzens. Especially those that are impaired.
Ted your a true gentleman, and unfortunately not many men like you are around. Doing the right thing does feel great, I would have liked to have been there when you told her it was " on you guys ". Roof looks great as usual!
Nice job Ted. Is that truck strictly roof cleaning?
Thanks. It's set up for strictly softwashing. Dual 12 volt systems (independant) with each having it's own purpose, not to mention the obvious redundancy.

I highly believe in redundancy. Nothing like being on a job and have something go wrong so you have to come back later and finish it. That is why I have several 12v pumps and 2 air flow pumps. You can see my trailer setup on my web page in the equipment section.
