you can either go the non pressure route, which some swear by, or the traditional way, which requires a lift and is similar to deck cleaning. i tried going the bleach route on a house and had to abort the mission after the customer told me i couldn't use his water. next time i'm gonna go the traditional way and i'll call shawn from prestige, he does nice work.
Won't let you use his water...lmao. Wow! Takes all kind. That's a first.
yeah it sucked, i graduated from the Bruce Sullivan school of rcedar shakes, got all my supplies, was all set up, and he asks where i'm getting the water from as he has well water. i never even thought to mention that I'll be using his water, thought it was common sense. he told me that i can use it sparingly put couldn't "run it continuously." it was an 8500 sq ft roof, but i decided to pull the plug on it. there are a lot of large cedar roofs all within a 5 mile radius so i'm gonna market it next season, probably do the traditional way next time though.
Thought this was going to be a roof that had to be walked. Its a Mansard roof. So we are going to wash it traditionally, Like to know Sullivans approach. That would be less expensive, and less time consuming! Sold it at 600. Shouldve charged more.
