I have done a couple of slate roofs..10-12 The only thing I know is make sure the tank is rinsed real good before you mix. You want to have no alcohol in the tank or new mix. It's poaaible the alcohol can discolor the slate for a period of time. I have not had a problem with any of them they come out perfect! No worries on your end, good luck,

Heard that! About the penatrant. Sames goes with the surficant as well. You chime in the same so far, bout the achol! Thanks for your help!
Someone else just reciently asked about this. I bet you can find that thread using the search button. I remember Chris T and I both gave some good advice in there.
I did this one all from standing on the ground hitting 30ft up with nothing more than 1/3 15% SH (5% total chlorine) and dawn. Temps were 95+ degrees but worked mostly in one pass w/7gpm pentaflex.
Tested SH alone didn't do deeeck. Added Dawn, BAM! Though I did rinse away the discoloration left by the soap but that didnt take much time at all. Would of left it but no rain in forecast for weeks. If its gonna rain soon leave it big momma nature.
