I am bidding on a large building softwash job, plus the windows, and the concrete (gum removal), in Washington, D.C.
I am okay at pricing concrete and gum removal, but I've never priced out one of these bigger buildings before, especially not in a super busy area like D.C. Since it's so high, a lift would be necessary, so should I increase or decrease my price per square foot? Because of the size, I thought to lower it, but it's huge and I don't want to lose my butt on this one. The sheer inconvenience of the area makes me want to raise my price, but this would be an awesome addition to our portfolio...
If I only have one truck, am I out of my mind bidding on a job of this size? 60,000 Sq. Ft. I figure growth isn't going to happen unless I aim high..
Phil, call me tomorrow if you'd like .... You and I aren't too far apart in the experience/equipment department from what I can tell & I'd be more than happy to help with this one. I don't know if this is for this season but I'm doing a few buildings like this in Sept about 2 hours from you, you're more than welcome to check it out for a few hours if you'd like, but call me & we'll talk.
