It looks really good, great job!... I'm still trying to figure out how to not to break any tiles while walking on this roofs... I'll keep you posted when if learn to fly lol
The results are amazing and the home owner could not be happier.
Looks great! It sure feels good taking an ugly, black, algae infested roof and making it beautiful!
Integrity Roof Cleaning always has some impressive before and after work photos!
Can you even imagine these so called "Green" roof cleaners, using Spray and Forget [to call us back when it ain't clean in 6 months ] type products?
You'd get done, the roof would be just as ugly as when you came and the customer would have to pay you for something they may get in the future!
Not that I'm suggesting Spray and forget works, it doesn't. I try everything I can find as it comes out. It cleans up some of the discoloration, but does not come out anything like "new" as our method leaves a roof. I assume, because it never actually kills the algae? I tested a quart on a back section of my own shingled roof [it's my test garden for algae removal mixes ] After about 4 months it was looking better and in about a year it was at it's best, but not over 70% as clean as our mix makes a roof in 3 hours! That 2' x 5' patch still was not a clean looking as the area next to it, cleaned a few years ago with a SH test mix.
I was up on my roof yesterday, to clean out the gutters and it's been around 18 months on the spray and forget patch and it's already turning black again. I have tried different % mixes of SH,[ 20% to 35% ] using Ammonyx lo, and M and Simple Cherry, Green Wash and other oddball ideas. They all came clean immediately, of course and will remain so on my roof for close to 5 years. My roof is 22 years old and looks fine-because it has never been pressure washed and other than the 2' x 5' strips i've used to test green gimmick products, it has not been totally coated in any of these "largely untested on Florida roofs" so called green chemicals. There hasn't been enough years and work done with the new fad green "who knows what they are" chemicals, to see if they will shorten the roofs lifespan??? Of course chlorine based mixes have many years of proof testing in their behalf.
If they invent a green type cleaner, that can REALLY do the job immediately and properly, I'll add it to my services. None exist yet, to my knowledge.
