Pressure Washer Products would like you to know that we have HOSE BARBS!

We even carry KYNAR (or PVDF is the same thing) Hose Barbs in just about every size imaginable.

Do you have a hard time finding a hose barb that jumps from 1/2" mpt to 1" Hose Barb?  We carry them in brass, stainless steel, KYNAR, Nylon, Polypro and Zinc plated.

Are you using two or three fittings to reduce down?  Next time you need to change a hose or fitting, replace it with ONE fitting.  Let us know what you are trying to do and we will help you plumb your equipment properly.

We DO NOT RECOMMEND using Polypropylene fittings, especially hose barbs, because they fracture under minimal stress.  They may not corrode but are certain to fail and leak the LOVE all over the lawn or your trailer or you!

Nylon or the white fittings are also soft and are not the best match from a chemical compatablity rating.

Brass and Stainless Steel also corrode but are EASY to find and are very, very durable.  Brass is the better choice because it costs less and offers the better overall value.

KYNAR or PVDF Rocks!!!!!!  It is a bit soft but who else can say that they have KYNAR Hose Barbs!  LOL!!!

Zinc Plated hose barbs are great for your pressure washer inlet for your belt drive unit.  Install a minimum of a 1" bulkhead at the bottom of your tank, a 1" schedule 80 PVC nipple and a full port 1" PVC ball valve, a length of 1" ag hose and either sch 80 PVC hose barbs or 1" brass hose barbs.  Next, install a blue top filter with a 80 mesh ss filter ((6237WF) attached to one of our 1/4" aluminum base plate predrilled for your filter.  By intalling the ball valve between the filter and tank, one can easily clean out the filter while the tank is full of water.  Finish up by connecting the blue top filter to the pressure washer by installing a length of 1" ag hose into the 1/2" fpt port at the pump and 1" port on the filter with hose barbs.
