It IS true that when NEW, 5/8 Ag Hose is verry stiff, but just like a Mercedes Benz, it softens up at 50,000 miles, and then lasts for 500.000 miles!

The 5/8 Ag Hose will soften after about a month or 2 of use, and will then last for years. Lawn Spray Guys use it everyday.

Back when we were doing from 4 to 6 roofs a day, 6 days a week, AG Hose was great.

But The Kuri Tec is way softer,  easy to use, and costs less.  For all but extreme duty roof cleaning, it is just fine. The Kuri Tec is what we have been using the last 3 years, with no regrets.

Personally, I still prefer AG Hose, though it costs more, simply because I have a bad temper, and have been known to cuss when hose kinks (it is embarassing to do when on a job)

Ag Hose kinks less, and it lasts longer (up to a year longer in my tests)

I prefer it, but I no longer  clean roofs ! My Employees hate it. Most AG Hose is Yellow, and Red Kuri Tec fits our color scheme better, or so my employees say ?
