It has just been released so I don't think you will have a ton of feedback at this point.
There are a couple guys that have had some samples, good reviews from them.
Have to wait and see in a few months

I too am waiting to hear how it all shakes out.

I've seen AC's videos and it looks promising. But until I see where several of the big dogs here have tried it, I will remain skeptical. I'd order and test it myself but I really have had to many other irons in the fire to get started with the roof cleaning. That may change later this spring though.

If this product is successful I will use it in lieu of regular SH for my start up.

Looks like a great product- Easy to use and better then picking up 55gallon drums. Tough to get good SH without driving 45mins to and 1hr each way here.  The shipping price kind of has me wondering I emailed for a shipping quote so we will see.  The green wash looks like a great addidtive too. But like you said I would like to see the big boys test it out. I figured they would have it in their hands the first day. I may just through the money out there to see for myself, Im very intrigued.

It might be a good idea to talk with others in your area who may want to use these chemicals, and all go in togther on a pallet shipment. That way you can save some shipping ?

I have not tried these products, simply because I live in Tampa Florida, where cheap, fresh SH is to be had on most any street corner.

Chris that's the only thing I miss about Florida, is the availability of chlorine, like you said, it;s available on every corner.

Shoot, it is so competitive for selling SH here in Florida, they have roadside signs saying SH 12.5% - 99.9

I buy my SH from a place we pay a LITTLE more from, but it is worth it. It is always fresh, and bright YELLOW. I have found Yellow is the key to good SH.

I do not like that clear looking SH sold at some places, it just aint as good, for cleaning.

There's no way it's gonna take a few months,..considering we know how liquid hypo works,..it won't take anymore than a few jobs for the user(s) to make a determination and/or comparison.

Jeff! I especially am waiting for your critique of these products. Do I remember correctly that you've already ordered some?

If so, I hope to see you here with the details as to their overall performance. That, and how they compare price ways to SH.

Not that the others opinions aren't valid, but you've been especially critical of powdered bleach alternatives, and I for one appreciate that from you. I've seen people taken for rides by the newest bestest thing before, and somehow I just don't see that happening with you.

How this shakes out will determine if.. when.. and how.. I spend some major money soon.

Personally I hope they're great, and do everything that AC hopes they do for us. I'd love to see him make a fortune selling us something great. Nothing wrong with passion returning a fat profit in my mind.

But if they don't? I want to know that too.

No Jeff, I understand that but what I meant was a colloboration of many users to get the overall consenus. It all needs to be shipped, recieved and used. Maybe not a few months but at least a month for all the guys to report back depending on when they get it when they use it so on and so forth in regards to being able to get a good poll going.

But once ot twice using it you will know.

Quite honestly I have not seen a bulitein board in my more then 20 yrs on the net that charged $$$ and lasted very long.  Im not quite sure the direction this websites is taking.   When I first logged on the $100 was for certification after doing time on the board and out in the field working. I must  admit that it has been a big part of my business development  since first logging on.  But I also believe that the best way to learn anything is by getting your hands dirty.(IE Better to invest in doing then talking about it)  I have been pressure washing for about 16yrs, and only started to dable in roofs about a year and a half ago after being asked 100 times to pressure wash peoples roofs.  Which I new from a stint working in the constructiuon trade would not be a good application on asphalt shingles.

But back to the $100 issue.   The net was originally utilized for the transfer of information mostly free, but not a viable model of course.  But with the advent of WWW advertising it obviously sprouted into one of the biggest phenominoms of our lifetime, which allows anyone with a minimal amout of traffic to supplemnt the the cost or completely pay for them.  So with that being said where exactly is this $100 per member going?  Is this a board of free flowing information between members or truly a structured institute of classes designed specifically to train roof cleaners?  I believe you have some very  knowledgeable guests on this board who would be greatly missed if they were forced out for not paying.  In fact without these guests the appeal of the board may be totally lost.

What difference is it to you where the money goes? You want tons of free information? It is here and it's free. But there is one section of this free forum if you want to read. You will pay.

HAD TO EDIT THIS! I JUST REMEMBERED! JEFF IS A "GUEST" AND I CONSIDER HIM AMONG THEEEE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE ROOF CLEANERS ON THIS SITE! I WOULD NOT WANT TO SEE HIM MISSING, EVER!

Ya, most of the free info is being moved to the "Premium" section, so anyone not willing to pay a hundred bucks, will miss it and we will miss you-if we remember who you are? smile.gif

There are truely some GREAT "Guest" members.

I personally balked at the $100 idea myself, but then saw the benefit of paying it.

Heck, where can you get all that is here for $100

???

Chuck

Hey Pat, no I haven't ordered any yet. Was kinda' hoping for the smaller sizes to become available. I am more interested in the Green Wash than the Bleach Wash.

I have a good idea what the Bleach Wash actually is and don't want to pay the shipping on something I can get at my local Univar. Can't say that yet about the Green Wash.

I'm not ruling anything out, and I have said several times already,.. I  hope this works more than anyone else,.. I have been so critical of the stuff because I've done alot of testing of powder over the years,..and they will work,..I never said they wouldn't work,...it's the trade-offs that make it "not feasible"

And believe me when I do try this stuff,.. and if it works,..you and everyone else here will know it,..I will be glad to come on here and run my mouth about it. I would love to get away from liquid hypo,...especially for roofs.

FYI,..I will eventually get my hands on some of each,.. curiosity will get to me,..Ha,Ha...

Jeff

Jeff, I remember AC was wanting to come and visit you to show you first hand that his products would work, but any way you would think he would send you a free sample for you to try, because you would certainly voice your opinion if you liked it, but maybe he is afraid you wont like it??

Hey Clyde,..I don't expect anyone to give me anything,..but I do get the point of what you say. I would/will be glad to come here and tell everyone how great it is,...and yes I think that would get alot of people over the "wondering" part.

Jeff, I personally think any good salesman would give free samples out if they felt confident in their product, after all if they are good products and you liked them you would consider in ordering them.

I insist on samples, because I have bought so much junk in the past and I get tired of disposing of products that didnt work.

Even AC him self always says sell demo sell demos.

AC certainly doesn't appear to be organized in this arena has he claims to of been in roof cleaning
