The same competitior I spoke of earlier is doing roof cleanings for $269.00 for this house 3200 sq. ft. with a barrel tile roof. And added on a "treatment" for the 5 yr warranty for $169.00.

This same person was pissing a fit about not charging high dollar and low ball splash & dash cowboys. The question is, well the answer is who is really a low ball hack.. hmm..

Funny thing is the HO called us to clean the cage (sold it), very strange.. and to boot we qouted jobs right next to each other at the very same time, and boy did I get an evil eye.. LOL.

Too bad I was in front of a customers house, but that is okay as we will see each other more in the future. My due is coming.

Good grief that's a lot of roof for only $438.  Not to mention the repeat trip *if* the guy is even still in business a few years from now.

Let 'em eat your dust as you take the high road with the higher premiums.

 

I will not lower my prices to sell things just to sell em, it is too much work to do it for free.
I think we are going to change direction and work on soliciting commercial work.
It may be competitive still, but it should weed out some of them.
Residential is alright for fillers, but life is too short to battle for $300.00 roof and other misc. cleanings in the residential markets.
