I cant help. I paid it. Never again! Hope you can get out of it. There is a 3 day clause here. Or pause. Inside 3 days you can get out of it. See if you got that too.

well this will not help you but it helped me out a lot. Last fall I was thinking about doing a yellow page add and the guys on here posted, no don't do it its not worth it. I sure am glad I listened to the advice I got on here. The rep for yellow page wont stop calling me but that is okay I just say not at this time thanks. I wish you luck

Yellow pages have gone the way of the covered wagon. they are useless.Except for those over 70 and maybe as a door stop.
Really not trying to be a d1ck but what do you mean(set up your wife)?Why would your wife make a major financial decision like that without discussing it with you? Who aproved the ad?
If her name is not on the business maybe you can tell them she does not have the authority to make those decisions. I really feel bad for you that is allot of money!!

you should have a window to back out id call talk to a higher up you probly wont get but a song from a rep that probly works on commission and follow up with a registered letter of cancelation to the person you speak with in charge so if they print and come for you your covered good luck

A last resort is to change your phone #. I believe the add would be void if the # is not in use.

The YP produces ok results, just an addtional way to put your name in front of people. We, as we have stated numerous times, use the YP in a much different way than most. There's a trick to making it work, but don't expect a great yield from it. This will be the last year we go in the book, as the generation that uses it is not our customer base.
