Because Kim the RCIA doesn't belong to the Membership, it belongs to whoever's name is on the Legal Paperwork. And that person or persons can do whatever they want to do with the RCIA. Until the RCIA is in the hands of the Membership, the Membership has no voice or control of the Org.

This is about a Dollar, pure and simple, and that's cool. Whats not cool is making that Dollar off the the Membership of the RCIA that has No Say in the situation.

Seems History Repeats It's Self Yet Again.

Gary: I don't read anyone blaming the whole board. As for comprehension, I think most comprehend real well. Actions most of the time speak for them self. Everyone on this side paid money to be a member and have an opinion. They also, as a paid member, have the right to express that opinion. Granted there will never be full agreement on any one issue/concern/idea, etc.

I'd say batten down the hatches, there is a big Nor'easter brewing.

Appears to the captain and the first mate haven't been watching the weather fax and they have plotted the wrong course right into the storm.

heree, heree, heree, this is the coast guard station America. The roof cleaning vessel RCIA is presumed lost at sea and all other vessels be on the look out. Last location unknown for lack of communication.

With all do respect Gary, it's going to be hard to explain this one, as Bruce stated...
"they have plotted the wrong course right into the storm." I will also agree with Bruce that no one is blaming the entire board. You know very well, as an active board member that not only this event with Delux but as well a few with other things, the board has been known to do things just because... and not even tell the membership about it. It must be frustrating for you at times. I have had the pleasure of working with you on the cert. committee and believe that you can have some good ideas. You also have the best interest of the membership in mind.

I hope all went well with you latest surgery.

Well, here is THE deal guys, as I see it. I still own this forum, but it was decided that RCIA should be "an org". A corporation was formed, and AC put his name on it because someone had to be the owner. He has been trying to get it out of his name.

A bunch have been willing to help him achieve his goal. Maybe he needs to speak up and deal with RCIA and not Delux so much as we all now see where his allegiance resides!

OK, I'm back. Surgery went well I think. Pardon the spelling & typos as it very hard to type and reasd with one eye.

First of all the post on the school was made by Delux, a vendor who has its own cage and this post was placed there which is proper. RCIA was not notified, or was it required to be, for a vendor (ANY) to place ads for any product or service they offer in their cage space.
The date this school and more importantly the cert. program is scheduled is beyond the target date the RCIA cert. committee has established. The cert. program is very near completion and should be ready before the end of March.
Certification will then start here at RCIA first for a fee UNDER $500.00.

Deluxis just trying to get the info out that this school and cert. will be available on the dates in April. I'm sure they have some major money tied up in this venture and without atendees, they will not succeed.. It was discussed in detail the fee's they have agreed to pay RCIA and Bill was instructed to go back to delux and try to get a higher fee. No answer yet.

The only person that is pushing the cert. committee is me, GARYW, because, I know many members are waiting for it and we've screwed around long enough on this trying to gold plate it.. The time has come for completion.

This whole thing somewhat resembles the drama that was created over the dry bleach that got beat up due to people not realizing the time frames and AC being involved. We all know AC has a relationship with Delux and deserves the right to sell his services. AC has NOT bee very involved in the cert. program and is only offering it thru delux and their agreement to pay RCIA a fee for every person that they train on it. He is also teaching all the other subjects also.

I know this is not going to stop the firestorm due a lot of people on here being very biased toward AC. It is only hoped that some will understand the truth and we can continue to progress, Or if you so desire we can all say "the hell with it", give the money we have to charity and close up shop. I am not out here trying to sink this ship, but am getting very tired of getting attacked by pirates over differences of opinions on topics that all should know, but few bother to research.

Gary, Glad surgery went well. You really can't blame people getting po'd about delux offering our certs when we aren't offering any. Why would they offer our certs when they are not available? Why would they sell products that are not available? Where's the emoticon for spitting out the kool-aid? Does the RCIA want to be involved with a vendor that does business like this? They are definately violating our 50 point standard that they are teaching.

Please re-read the info as to when this school is going to take place. It is AFTER the completion date the cert. committee has set. This is what starts all this discord. RCIA certification will be available HERE first. The post is just pure advertising.

Sorry you think some of us are pirates but I don’t feel that I am,
People were asked to become a member for a 100 fee in order to obtain certification. They have been here waiting around for a certification to be put in place and are seeing nothing.
One member took it upon himself to research this and told you that it would cost him 2500 to get certified and you told him this was false info and you don’t know where he was hearing this. THEN a post comes from an outside source stating that you can now take a class for 2000.00 and get certified,
UMMMMM let me see if I’m understanding this correct, there is NO CERTIFICATION even in place yet but we have a vendor advertising that there is one and that for 2000.00 you can get certified.
Don’t you think the proper way to handle this was to offer
certification to our members thru the RCIA site first then bring in outside vendors, I DO.
Also isn’t it just funny as hell that its AC that was behind this, of course he will say Thank you Robert,

But delux surely contacted AC first before they made the post

this is a lack of communication here and has pissed a lot of people off, we continue to see AC do as he please as long as it benefits AC.
Here is what I see, In order for a premium $100.00 member to get certified he will not only have to take this course with deluxe but I foresee in the future the member having to buy certain equipment and using Delux (AC) powder wash also.

let’s not forget we have to sport the RCIA logos so we can promote AC,s Business
I stated this in letter to the man a few months back, the one he posted public after I sent it private. One way or another AC is getting his pockets lined from the members, he is goanna make sure of this, and I think this posting by Delux tells my story completely...

I tell you what I think Gary I have been here from the beginning, and the RCIA is going to hell in a hand basket quick, we are leaving to many un answered questions out there and when members ask they get told just wait , then bammmmmmm, AC throws his egotists azz around again... To tell the truth, I’m fed up with it..

Now you go tell all the potential roof cleaning guest that for 100.00 you can become a premium member and then for 495.00 more or whatever it might be you can then take a test and MAYBE become certified. We want certified roof cleaners, we do not want to jump thru %^&^%% hoops.. We need certified roof cleaners for this forum to prosper, so let’s stop all this bullchitt and make it simple for our members to be certified...

They should not have to take some 2900 coarse to be a first rate roof cleaner... How many damn ways is there to clean a ROOF?

Here is the Bottom Line.. Delux wants to take over the roof cleaning Industry, and the people here with their damn blinders on are letting them.. I know Gary I’m NUTS, but you heard here first.

The majority of what you just said is BS and you know it. If you, or anybody else wants to go spend $2k+ on certification, go for it. NO ONE has said that is what you are going to have to do. Certification will be offered HERE first for a very reasonable fee. Certification is not mandatory, so if you don't want to spend your money, or see any benefit, don't get certified. ,Delux's post is just PURE advertising and is no way part of anything RCIA is offering. They are a private company and a vendor on our site. Perhaps if you would remove your " I hate AC" glasses you could see what this post of delux's really said. This will occur AFTER the completion deadline the cert. committee has set. Not before.

The cert. committe decided to keep most of what they were working on secret, so they would not be bombarded with questions by impatient people. They have accomplished a lot usuing this principle. Be thankful for them.

Gary, we don't know when our certs will be ready. If they are going to advertise here they should have everything in order; which it is not. It's the whole bleach wash thing again. They are advertising something for sale that they can not deliver. AGAIN!!!!

FOR THE RECORD

The Certification committee has NOT finalized the Program as of yet INCLUDING the SALE OR LEASE of RCIA certification.

So far it has been against MOST of the committees better judgement. Please let us finish our task at hand. I can assure all the members, that the committee has your best interests at hand.
