I think I'd do my own research first. Most of the businesses I have spoke with have dropped YP here in the Des Moines, iowa area.

They tried telling me that, But i couldn't find anything on roof cleaning in my area like he said he was seeing...I think it was bunk info jmho

You have to listen between the lines... YP reps group newer services with existing services when they don't have an exclusive category of their own. By saying that "X" number search for Pressure washing/Roof cleaning, they are really saying that someone has searched for one or the other.

I dropped YP along time ago. In my area it's a over-priced joke. I just created a free listing on their site and called it good.

The YP rep calls me once in a while to try and sell...he likes to tell me about the "benefits". I tell him the only benefit of that book is when it get delivered to my door, i have free toilet paper for the next couple months.

Yea about all the YP is good for! lol!!!

The girl that sold me PPC last year, She tried to get me back. I said look what I've done with organic! She said I was #4. I told her I was #1, the other 3 were PPC. She couldnt even recognize what she was selling!!! Too funny

Here is something I learned too. About directories. Well first they go there then they find you. Thats alot of actions. Your link right under a YP ad in google. Imagine that. 1 click straight to you. What is stronger?
