Has anyone used the new web site yet i.e posted pictures, content etc.?

Would like to link it to my web site and direct customers to it. I like the design of it and found it user friendly.

I uploaded my company information and logo a few days ago to be listed in the RCIA Certified Companies section. So far my information has not been placed in the section.

As far as pictures go there is a link Homeowners Click Here/Certified RCIA Roof Cleaner Listing/RCIA Photo's From Certified Members that goes to a page with links back by state to the Certified Roof Cleaning section on the original website. I have a couple of entries there.

Who are the guys on the home page?

Charles

One thing that would be helpful would be having the "new" RCIA website button on the forum to open in a new window.

Still learning my way wround there.

Having a link open in a new window would be great. I can't tell you how many times I've clicked on a link and looked at a few pages on that site and then wanted to be back in the RCIA thread I started from.

When we place a link in our post there is an option to have the link open in a new window. I would like to see everyone select that option or maybe the administrator could make that the default option.

Brett, Charles,

I can't make changes to the forum, Jerry or Chris T.
have to make that change.
My work around for this right now is as follows:

- open a thread, any thread in a new TAB or WINDOW
- click on the new site link at the top of the forum page
- this keeps your original thread page or forum open

I know this takes a few extra clicks, but it gets the same
"effect" as if the link automatically opened in a new TAB
or WINDOW.

I hope this helps you guys out, till it gets changed.

Thanks Chris for the work around idea.  At one time I was a futures trader and had 4 monitors active.  I love to have multiple windows open across my desktop.

My background is computer programming and I tend to take things to an efficiency level above the norm.   The less clicks I have to make the better.  For example when you first go to an area that requires a password you have to place the cursor in the area that accepts the password.  You can't do anything else on the page except put in a password so the cursor should be sitting in the window ready to type the password.  It's a little thing but for me the less clicks the better.

I agree completley Charles! I'm not sure if everyone knows how to use that.

Chris, I do what you suggest but you should see my screen with all the open windows!

Ha Ha Ha....

I know what you mean..... I typically have 4-5 instances of Firefox open and each instance
has anywhere from 5-20 tabs open. I'm an information junky, in many different fields.

Charles you are correct. Anytime I do any programming, I make it as efficient as possible.

I just suggested the extra TAB or WINDOW to keep your origional place in the forum.

Hope you guys have a great day!!!

Chris
