I think if that thing springs a leak, your in for a real azz washing.

Never seen the back pack. It would have to be refilled to often. the xjet pulls around 40%. Other than delavans the xjet best you can get up there. The only other option, to kep from running chems through the pump is upstreaming. That 20% at best. Hope this in the paid section, lol!!!

X-jet is a big time waster. I experimented with it and I didnt like it at all. You can allegedly get a ratio of 1:1 or 2:1 which is enough to start burning some landscape. Like most of us here I have washed thousands of house. The Super Suds Sucker from Envirospec works the best. No back packs or buckets. 4 banger tip 0040 and 1540 to draw, 0012 and 1515 to rinse using a 3800 at 4gpm.

I had a B&G back pack leak sodium hydroxide all down the back of my arse and down my leg. I stopped the job and drove home in my bloomers.

The downstreaming x jet thing has been going on a long time ago. Both seem to work? Its personal preference. The x jet puls stronger chems. I personnally like that, like roof washing!

Neither one is better than the other.

I hear there is an alternative to the X Jet called the M 5 for softwashing ?

I have the m5, like it. Carrying a pail is a bit of a pain; I could see some advantage to downstreaming, like not carrying a pail. On the other hand, waiting for the soap to clear out of the line downstreaming is a pain too.
