Would someone like to shine some light on the recent thread disappearances? Do we have a glitch in the forum? I keep seeing people complaining about their threads disappearing, first Dan and then Clyde, hmmmm? Maybe we have a "thread yeti" (Abominable Snowman) on the loose... I know its the winter season, but whats up?
I have only deleted a spam thread by a guest about shoes. If the threads in question have been moved or deleted, it could due to one of the following:
Thread Hi Jacking Inappropriate content Non informational or educational content
These are not all the reasons, but just a few....if those that are concerned about their post being removed, they should re-read the RCIA rules in it's entirety to find what would deem it to be deleted.
Hope this helps shine some light on the situation.

No it wasn't any of those, do you have any more reasons?
Until the person who deleted the thread has time to read this NEW thread, read this.... It may be in here somewhere. Until then I need to go spend some time with my family and friends. Have a Merry Christmas Everyone!!
Hello New Roof Cleaning Institute Member,
Welcome to the forum,
Here are the basics of the board. Please abide by the rules.
1. Please COMPLETELY fill out your Signature and Avatar prior to posting on any topic.
That includes your FULL NAME, Phone numbers, LOCATION and website and e-mail address. No FALSE names and numbers, no fictitious ANYTHING. We will call and email you for verification.
We will not SPAM you or sell or rent your name out...ever.
The Bottom Line: You know who we are and we all would like to know you better as well. You will be removed from membership if this is ignored.
2. The proper way to get educated about this industry is to read the majority of the posts already on the forum. While reading, if a question comes to mind, use the “SEARCH” function at the top of the page. I can personally guarantee that “ANY and ALL” questions you have are listed and answered in the search database. You will find the answers you seek if you are patient, diligent and set your mind on STUDY. This is a learning experience which will reward you greatly if you are willing to follow the proper learning sequence. A good rule of thumb is to NOT post anything or ask any question for the first 3 weeks you are a member. An introduction of yourself is acceptable before that time period.
3. Remember the Golden rule. Be respectful and courteous to others. No GREY area here: rudeness, bad behavior, racial slurs, profanity, etc. WILL NOT be tolerated. We are a FRIENDLY forum and ask that our members remember to watch their manners and keep the highest integrity. There are a number of moderators that are assigned specific areas of the forum to watch for violations of these rules. Offending members may be placed on probation or banned completely for violations. Please keep your comments on topic and do not hi-jack the thread to some other topic. Start a new thread if you have a topic you want to discuss.
3A. Posts and Links to any site that contains Adult material, including Text, Pictures, videos, or any material that could be considered as "pornographic" are strictly forbidden on any RCIA forum, discussion board, chat room, or facility provided and governed by RCIA. Anyone posting such links or material will immediately be banned and their membership terminated. Any fees paid to this point will NOT be refunded if such actions occur. If this type material was to be discovered by "search spiders" the rankings for RCIA and its members would be severly damaged. This is for everyone's protection. (added 12-22-2010)
4. Read and get an overview of the “Mission Statement” of RCIA to help you understand what we are all about.
5. Give credit where its due. We all have something useful to share. Share where appropriate, be humble when necessary and give respect and credit when deserved and earned. Being rude benefits no one.
6. RCIA does NOT condone using other members pictures, web or forum content or ideas unless the content owner agrees that you may use their content, pics, etc. and you get written permission.
7. Always use your own pictures and written content for your website or blog. Do NOT cut and paste others hard work and claim it as your own.
8. Always POST your responses at the bottom of the thread NOT at the top.
9. Learn and educate yourself- Until you know what this industry demands that you know for your own well-being, public safety, and property protection, in addition to performing a professional service to further this industry. This will be an ongoing learning experience which can provide a rewarding business experience for years to come.
10.Please don't randomly write, just to post anything for the sake of just getting your post count up.The search engines regularly come to this site as an AUTHORITY site and look for NEW, relevant content. If you know something TRULY useful, then by all means POST it and contribute to the board. We all appreciate NEW, valid, pertinent and USEFUL Roof Cleaning, marketing, Sales, environmental info, etc.
11. Enjoy this Forum. And, when you are trained and knowledgeable- Please share your knowledge and experiences with all here.
12. New guidelines are being formulated pertaining to the “certification process and will be posted in the near future. Until that time no “new’ certifications are being administered to new candidates.
13. There is a membership fee of $100.00 per year, per member, to a obtain access to all parts of the forum. This can be paid through check or credit card. PM a moderator for details on how to pay.

Chris can see even deleted threads and who they were deleted by. I'm sure once he reads this he will check it out. Just for the record it wasn't me. I can't even remember the last time I deleted anyones posts or moved them.

I USED to be able to see who deleted what Clyde, but can't anymore. I am going to call the forum engineers to find out what happened to your thread. I restored it as soon as it was brought to my attention by Larry. BTW Clyde, that deleted thread was, and IS Stretching the Forum !!!!!! That may be the reason it was deleted. The oversized picture of Mike Kreisles rig is stretching the forum.
