Ed it looks like this might be a break through for some of us up north. Did you heat the roof up with hot water first? Or use more alcohol to keep the solution from freezing? PM me if you need to on this. Have a great Christmas!!

My clients have all been Guinea Pigs for some of the new products that Delux will be carrying that I have helped them formulate and have endorsed.

AC's roof mix is about the only thing that works right when its this cold. Put it to you this way, if you lay your water hose on the ground for more than 5 minutes, dont expect anything to come out next time you need fresh h2o.

Ed,

We've cleaned some roof's when its been in the 30's and I don't mind telling you I froze my butt off (and I'm from Wisconsin originally).

Our results were very good. We made the mix alittle stronger (extra 5 gal per 100 gal batch) and the drying time took alittle longer.  Our All-Flo 3/8 pump stalled a few times and we had to jump start it, which is always a pain.

22 degrees, you need to have an ice shanty out their for your crew to keep from freezing, I would think?

the roof mix may work but your epuipment may not. even leaving a little water in your hose will cause it to fail. I had that problem last week. I was all set to do a job and my pvc pipes cracked and burst and all my garden hose was frozen solid. I do have anti freeze sitting in my High pressure pump and i broke down all my eqiupment and stored it for the winter. The only thing i can see doing now is gutter clean outs and snow plowing. Since i dont have a plow i guess im cleaning gutters.

I got a few calls to clean a roof and scheduled them for this coming season. It's just not worth it to me to clean in this weather. More power to you though, man!

I thought this winter cleaning thing was suppose to be a huge break through????

I got smoothed into going to the Charleston convention on the account of this lol

So tell me you Northerners How do you do it?

you don't work on Sundays

you get rained out many of many days especially in the spring

and after July when the kids get out of school and everyone goes on vacation things are very slow.

and then its to hot the home owners don't even go out side and look up.

So don't BS me you make all your money in 5 months and your savings go to chit during the winter.

I know its possible to make a fortune  in 6 months, I think BOb jR did.
