The way I see it, Chuck (and now Brett) keeps egging this on by replying to Scott and others in here. Either way, this crap is ridiculous and ongoing!

I jumped in and made a statement to someone else. You jumped in and spoke directly to me. I didn't ask everyone to "drop it" just you.

That to me is a statement that is about all old, long time roof cleaners in general, who can relate to one another. I didn't put words in your mouth, I quoted you.

Chuck, 3 things:

1. I've never met Phil or talked to him. He didn't say he didn't see fault with me, he couldn't because I'm as much at fault as you.
2. I learned to jump in and defend my friends from the best here, you being one of them.
3. I won't agree to disagree. You only do that when you have no leg to stand on and want to end an arguement.

there is no moderation of this board anymore. If you think im childish then so be it i have my own reasons for wanting to see the email. Plus we are in the shade. I am sick and tired of the newbies thinkin they know more then the guys that have been here for years. If you have a problem with that then i don not know how to help you.

Kim it doesn't add fuel to the fire because I'm not posting anything publically. But people should be seen for who they are. Ask brett to send you my emails. When people are speaking privately you really see who someone is. I have nothing to hide and Brett knows it.

You can be. Maturity comes with learning from others knowledge and mistakes as well as admitting your own shortcomings and trying to improve on them. That takes time. I have done that to the best of my ability, during my 62 years of life, while raising 5 children, - not perfectly, that's for sure, but I have improved myself and have succeeded in business continuously,since 1978. It also comes to some extent with age, that, we all have to wait for.

Now can we let this go?

Hey Chuck, I consider most of you guys my friends!

I was referring to how you were saying to drop it and then when someone else responded, you'd take another jab. Then Brett chimed in with a jab, "Scotty Jr." Yada yada. I didn't say Scott wasn't wrong for what he said. More than anything, it just seems like constant bickering on this forum!

I just got in from working, 2 more satisfied customers, maybe we'll be able to build a big customer base like you (Chuck) and Scott one of these days.. This is what the forum is about guys!

If that's the way you see things then so be it, I have no right to tell you what you can & cannot do, just outside looking in, but as much as many think ,in the shade is off limits to the masses here, that would be incorrect, everyone that signs up here gets this password for the shade, the shade is only restricted from SEO, but everyone has the password including customers. Anyone correct me if I am wrong.

One other thing if there is no moderation anymore than why the titles and capabilities of a mod still being used?

I do not believe a moderator and their experience has anything to do with the position of such duties, as it does not require any roof cleaning skill set to remove posts or remind new guests to add sig's to their profile and provide some leadership. Unless I am missing something more that moderators do, correct me if I am wrong.I just have always looked at a moderator position as an unbiased mediator for the forum members & guests, being the moderators are entrusted with certain powers to delegate and remove posts etc. Yes? So it would make me a bit leery to be on the bad side of you, then it would no longer be unbiased judgment calls on the above mentioned.
