Chat room activation??

I missed the chat last night but seen a little of it this morning, seemed pretty cool. I'm game for a few times a week.

Yes I agree Gary, that would be a great way for us to really get to know one another and relax a bit.
I think it shouldn't be all of the time either maybe at night twice a week and definitely open all day on holidays, kind of like a social alcoholic.

As for the agenda chat.....
Honestly I think a topic here and there is cool to post an agenda for, but I think the best thing about the forum is you can always go back and put your word in when asked for on your own time. And if someone is working late that night they will miss out on this. And people may have something to do at a certain time or watch kids or something and it may actually make some members feel they are not involved. I only say this because the amount of people involved, if it were just a few guys then fine.

Very good thoughts about some people not being able to be involved. Thats what this "brotherhood"is all about. Involvement!

I think it was a good idea, I liked it. A few times a week I think would be good. One suggestion though I think it might be better at the bottom instead of right at the top, maybe try it a few different ways, bottom or top and than see which would be better.

Not sure if we have that option, but I'll ask Chris. I do like the feature where it shows on the chat screen every new post that is being made anywhere on the forum. Allows you to stay in contact with what is going on everywhere.

We tried the bottom at times and it was too easy to ignore. It would be there for days and no one would notice. I agree the top is annoying, but I think that's part of why it worked, along with all the people planning to come.
Top or bottom, a weekly planned social would be great. It could include all guests and members, so the differences can be seen and explained in an open format.

I like the chatroom but I do agree that it should have an agenda. The other night with no agenda it was just supposed to be a get together. (I thought) and yes Ted did seem agitated when we talked about football. I like the idea of 1 or 2 nights might try different times each day or put up a poll for everyone on the forum for day and time.
