Has anyone tried the new roof cleaning gun from sunbrite? If so feedback on it please if not, I will buy one and try it out.
I am surprised they didn't show it off in Charleston.
It is a suttner 2700 all stainless with stainless qc's and poly wand looks half decent for those who enjoy the trigger.

A good tip for the guys who use guns is take it off everyday and spritz some anti corrosive spray in there. Takes 5 seconds. Dip it in a bucket of soap is good first also. I just had a $27 gun last nearly 2 months doing this.

What is the longest you guys are getting out of guns?

For those who do use a trigger or want to, lets get on this and find a gun that works. If you are dealing with crazy roof pitches where you cannot get of the roof and some high winds like I am you need a trigger.

Is this gun like a pressure washing gun but all stainless, I heard of a gun similar with ceramic ball in side of it. I have one for pressure washing and is still going strong after 4 months of use, but haven't tried anything like that for roof cleaning.

I'm still using the model YRL50 spray gun Lori gave me back in August. So far no problems. She said that at some point the ball would need to be replaced. Should be an easy fix.

I have been using the basic Udor poly gun. I have done 45 roof cleanings with it and it is just starting to drip a little. I just ordered another. I do have a ball valve before the gun that is alway's turned off when I'm not spraying at that moment, I'm sure that helps.

Is that the blue one? If so mine's toast. Lasted a while though.

We have YET to find a spray gun to hold up for long, so we just use ball valves. Of course we like guns better, if you are opening and closing them a lot. We do a lot of roofs sometimes, so we wear them out fast.

We just started doing that as well. My roof guy dropped the wand assembly that were were using off a roof and it snapped in half one day. All I had to be able to keep us going for the day was a ball valve and fittings. He said he actually liked it better so we've left it that way.

The Suttner 2700 is one good gun.  I have mentioned it before.  I have 2 which I have power washed with for 6 years with no problems.  I had a spare on my shelf so I attached it to my AOD pump when I got it in June 2010.  It still works with no problems.  I rinse it at the end of every day and coat it with water proof grease.
It is very nice for touch spray blasts and has a pull over trigger.

From Suttner's website:

ST-2700 SS Spray Gun

Applications:

All stainless steel internal components create a durable long lasting trigger gun, especially suitable when using corrosive chemical. Comfort technology designed trigger system actually helps the operator keep the trigger open. Fatigue is reduced, allowing longer work periods.

Features:
All stainless steel components create a durable, long lasting trigger gun. Suttner exclusive relax-action trigger and comfort grip reduces trigger force up to 20% and holding force up to 60%. Easiest opening and holding trigger in it's class. Proper spray angle for optimal positioning of pressure points. Unitized valve for easy repair. Forged brass housing for maximum strength. 12 gpm

Marcus this sounds like you are using this gun and it is not falling apart on you. Am I correct? Are you actually making it through say 2 or 4 months.
You pressure washed with it for 6 years?
Not the same gun obviously.

What is the longest you have used it for roof cleaning? Same Gun and all

So far none of my guns have ever fallen apart.  I have 5 of these guns.
I use one for pressure washing (high pressure),
1 for power washing (low pressure & diluted SH),
1 for roof cleaning that I have used since June, &
2 spares that I bought in Tampa from Sun Brite for about $65.
6 years ago these guns cost me $130 from Water Cannon in FA.
I do not interchange my guns.  The one I am using for roof cleaning I hope will last at least a year.  It is so much easier than a ball valve.  Ball valves are for employees.
