I agree with Travis, I think that would be a great idea. Normally the beginning of winter is when I have the most money, I'll still have my summer money coming in and not as much going out.

I think I might like the winter expo,
and yes I have been way way to busy to bust loose and go to an expo, plus putting a daughter through college kinda puts a damper on things, But I will be attending next year for sure, nice thought travis

Yeah I would Love to be able to attend seminars every year we can talk about new ideas and it would be just a great way to share Ideas on how to better business for the following year.Everyone can discuss there problems and help fix them for the next year =] I hope they consider it =] My uncle has his own lawn care company and they attend the John Deer Seminars every Year in South Carolina I was able to go Last year and it was lots of fun all of his employees had a blast not only are you going to learn but also to get away from work and partied a little bit =]

They can meet at the Mason Dixson Line LoL or North Carolina I believe thats like half way between the north and south...Well its all just a thought that I hope they consider to do hopefully this year and make it a every year thing..

Maybe do some local stuff like we did here in VA last weekend. Short travel
distances for most and the motel rates are easier to negotiate. Think about something regional. I don't remember the head count, maybe 12. We discussed everything, learned a few tricks, shared ideas and had a great time.

The next NCE even will be held in Kentucky on April 1st and 2nd of 2011. There will be a few other events this up comming year but they will be smaller than in past years. I do however believe that Ron will be hosting an NCE event in September of 2011. This will be the biggest one. Kory is also planning to have an event this summer either in Tampa or Orlando. The location for this event has not been determined yet. I'm sure that Ron may chime in with more info on these events and dates.

The NOVA meeting went well. If the meeting would've been promoted larger than just in the RCIA (my learning lesson), It would've been huge! Next year!! Promise! wink

Actually many other contractors that came ARE bringing their rigs next time! So I'm anticipating 5-10 rigs outside, (with the added contractors showing up)!! Some serious awareness for roof cleaning near the Wash DC, metro area. Why not include talk about flat work and house washing next time, as well, a vendor or 2?

Holding a RT either in Florida, or NY, or California, Is pretty extreme driving, flying expense plus the room?, Durring the winter for us norther folk when we are slow.

The guys that are affected by winter conditions honestly aint flying to Florida, myself included. Why not hold it here? Many northeners could afford to drive to something closer. Also guys that are rolling in the bucks still, down in the south, could aford to fly here! Creating a larger group, and not segregating us northern guys, because money is a lil tighter durring these months.

What to see? How about your nations capital, Smithsonians, all kinda cool stuff here to see as well?

I'll do everything in my power as well to get some TV time for the next NOVA meeting. Awareness that roofs can be safely cleaned! I think it is newsworthy, since noone knows about this?

There are all sorts of cleaning events. Starting in Feb Nola , march Atlanta , April ky as well as smaller meetings between. Milwaukee will happen in early July and late June Orlando or Tampa.

The rest is the year will be Texas Phx Nashville philidephia Los angeles & Myrtle beach.

All these shoes are private contractors. All subject to change. Nce will be involved with three. Houston will be a special event only relating to EPA, details are not complete. Vendor org meeting.

A list of months and dates will be up by Jan 5th 2011.

Nola dates set, Atalanta might be set have not talked with them. Ky April 1&2 is set.
