I stumbled on this website looking for a way to clean cedar shake roofs and saw this demo of a guy using cedar wash on cedar it looked okay and I could do so much work in this area if this system is for real or if anyone has any Ideas of something similar. http://www.wash-safe.com
I never heard of the RCCA - Roof Cleaning Contractors Association. I poked around a bit more and found this thread. I guess they didnt get very far because it was deep in the back end Google pages. What say you? I will not provide a link.
I think I saw that on pwP website a while back??

Wash Safe sells some of the highest quality sodium percarb I've used, but its very expensive. Great for wood restoration, horrible for asphalt shingle cleaning. If your going to pressure wash cedar shake, I would use some sodium percarb from a vendor like envirospec or powerwashstore or wash-safe if you can afford it and put it up with a chem pump (make sure its mixed well cause the gas can choke the pump). Don't ds it through the pw, it will dilute it too much. The roof will be very very very slick, so be careful. I've slipped and fallen on decks with that stuff! you might be better off soft washing with some love like bruce does.
