*When Sodium Hypochlorite breaks down, it forms Hypochlorous Acid and a Hypochlorite Ion.   Sodium Hypochlorite breaks down when it comes in contact with organics, a temperature rise, high or low pH, time passing and ultraviolet rays.  The Hypochlorous Acid is REACTIVE to the Fiberglass mixed in with the Polypropylene body of the pump.  The Fiberglass improves the integrity and strength of the pump manifold but is ultimately the inherent time bomb for roof washers using Sodium Hypochlorite.  The result is pin-prick size holes in the pump caused by the degradation of the strands of Fiberglass by the Hypochlorous Acid.

I guess that answers that! I have three setups, air and the 5880 and fatboy. 95% of my jobs are done with the 5880 and the fat boy takes care of the rest. I never need the air,I suggest the two 12v { 5880 and Fatboy } and add on as needed. All three are on my setup just incase one fails I'm not stuck. At the beginning of this season Both of my 12v failed { my own fault } and had to use the air to finish the job. Have not used it since but is there for emergencies.

Yeah I was just thinking the Air would give you better coverage and distance you also don't have to get on top of the roof much more reliable

The Fatboy shoots very far........No need to get on a roof. Don't spend so much....take it slow and learn what your doing then upgrade.

Fatboy is an excellent starter, but the all-flow has much better control for overspray and run off

Used my flojet for the first time today.  Ran great.  It's a 12 volt-don't have the room for an air compressor.  It's 80psi @ 7 gpm.
