Does anyone have a good way to remove pine tree sap from fiberglass shingles confuse I sprayed it several times but it just turned brown and it would not rinse off?

That Sucks!
The new owner cut the tree branches back so I did not even realize what the stain was until seen all the branches cut back and I had a stain that would not go away!

I've used turpentine before, albeit on very small spots, never over a big area like that.

Would zylene work? Don't know how it would react to shingles though.

xylene would be very bad for the shingle.
It is a very efficient solvent. We use it everyday in our parent company.

Ideas: Citra-solve, acetone, witch hazel, denatured alcohol, baby oil.

I have used them all in the past with varying degrees of success.
I would try the witch hazel or the alcohol first.
