Mark Cramer, could be the source. But is leads back to them, hmm..

I have a good idea who it is, a jealous local wanna be competitor. I have some friends at Verizon, I will have them run the IP.
Well, they did run it!
It comes back to this guy, Frank Hall, a local pressure washer. He has been identified as the source of a LOT of Chit Talking about me behind my back.
Oddly enough, I have met him on several ocassions, even had him clean my Sons driveway once! He has never said anything bad, to my face. This is who he is

I have a few questions:

How did Verizon trace the IP in question without a time stamp? Just so you're aware, ISPs use dynamic IP addresses... which means that IP is used for 24-72 hours by someone before being changed by Verizon.

Additionally, how did you find someone to agree to trace an IP address? Time Warner Cable, one of the largest cable companies in the United States, has a staff of fewer than ten people running these checks. Each ISP has such a large volume of legitimate requests from law enforcement that it would be almost impossible for them to search something so trivial.

Finally, this is something that cannot legally be done without a subpoena. I find it really odd that Verizon Wireless, another one of the nation's largest companies, would so easily violate federal and state statutes.

Just some food for thought before you all go slandering competitors with baseless information.

So your a lurker, I guess things must be getting bad for you to spy on an association that you have much disdain for.
Well you can do one of two things continue to lurk in or be an active participant in the forum.
Oh and by the way the forum is FREE and I have yet to shell out one dime for all of the information that was so readily given for FREE! SO do not tell us that our money here is a waste or spent frivolously on supporting this forum as it is free!!! And as far as the vendors go, well I need to buy REAL equipment somewhere... DUH! so yes I have used one vendor here, but is anyone twisting my arm Adamantly NO!!! I have received a lot of excellent unbiased advice from the many many members from all over the country!

Many bigger washers have forums, if ya aint figured that out. They deserve it. Posting in any of them helps you and them. What if they didnt have them. Its too easy to get links here and Chris put it out there to help you with YOUR website.

I've read this many times now. It's one of Chris's competitors. Thats the only thing that makes sense. Read it yourself thinking you would write this as someone else. A supplier, a competitor? Its someone that knows the RCIA.

ISP use static and dynamic IP's. It can be used as long as 30 days depending on the service provider. I also have and have worked many years in the telecommunications field, I myself had to look up IP addresses for copyright infringment. Dont think for a second that with the right lawyer, one can not be found. Slander is costly, and your reputation and company could/is up in the air!
