Beating a Distributor up online will only Scare others away.
This happened to NCE event, its happening to RCIA.
Lets Talk and Resolve issues with each other civil, be pro's about the problems.
I have had my issues with Lori & Rex, Ive chosen not to work with them.
Maybe you guys if you want to use here give her advice.
One of the main issues I see is the communications.
I also have see complaints of slower orders.
Maybe if you guys collectively Help Lori realize alls you want is better service even if you paid more.
PWP has had growing pains, possibly Lori needs to sit in on the entire NCe Event and learn to run her business more effectively. Possibly start with the Systems presentation by the PWNA.
AC will be talking at the next event about some similar issue to tackling increase in your business.
Offer Lori advice in stead or critisium. She realatively new at this Business despite PWP age, Lori has moved PWP in a direction they have never been.
So Lori, look at this thread as Positive and try to learn and listen to your customers.

Many, many times it has been posted for Lori to return calls and emails. I have chose to walk away. What I can get from her, I can and will get elsewhere. What she can not get from me is my business.
I have requested quotes for a hot water skid unit and other items. I then went to her shop and she told me, yea, I got it, but I have not had the time. I then text asking for it. No response.
DCS stepped up, and thats when I turned my back. All this information is backed by documentation.
If I can not get in contact with a person to give them advice, or ask a question, I have no need for that person.
All the newbies will soon learn on their own. Right now she is the "BomB" because she took the time to talk with them...but what about the people who put her where she is now? All past customers must wait? NO!
I will pick up the phone at 2am for a customer, I may be a little irritated, but I am there for my customers because they pay my bills, and they know I will be there for them.
I really should stop the jibberish now. I need a smoke.!

uuhh... Mixed chit here. ... uhh try Rons advice. Ron I missed your class first thing Sat. in Tampa. Paid for it. I missed 2 classes. Mike gave me credit at the PWNA.
I so much agree with you Ron, this bashing a vendor on a site is so un professional, I tell you I would never hire some one that acts like that, I also hope when these people or companies that trash othes on here, because they had a bad experience ,dont get the same treatment when they burn a bush or some grass, or bend a gutter , lets hope they dont get trashed on here by there customers.
I have been on this site for 18 months and here latley it has been whine whine whine... you dont like a vendor move on but dont run them in the dirt we are all gonna have more problems with more vendors in the future and we are all gonna have customers that have problems with things we do and with things we haven't done so keep it on the up and up

My first reaction is to agree with you. That is until I remember that Lori has run good contractors names through the mud and deserves everything she gets.
And yes, Im sure if I repeatedly killed bushes and grass that I would be excoriated and run out of business. Word of mouth is a bitch. So until she comes out and publically apologizes sincerely, not condescendingly, I hope this keeps happening.

You have a great point here Ron. Nobody minds paying more IF the service is good. If she would charge more, she could hire someone else, and give better service. I guess its choosing between the hack with the cold water machine, 20inch surface cleaner trying to clean a drive through full of oil, and a quality contractor. You get what you pay for.

No one ever stopped to think cutting prices only may drive news guys to think they can charge less and undercut the real guys who know how to run a business.
This is a great topic for another thread.
Cheap sometimes is you get what you pay for, the problem is you also pass it on!!!

Very good point. Well said. This is one of the concerns in my mind in the thread I started on RCIA Membership. Opening the opportunity for undercutting. Your so right you get what you pay for.
I will pay a little more for great SERVICE. I face lower priced competitors every day, and still get our share of jobs, because we take care of our customers. People don't realize how many times I hear " They never even returned my phone calls" I laugh, all the way to the bank.

I made probably 30k last year just off of other contractors not showing up for the estimate. hahaha

Yep, it is amazing the amount of people advertising roof cleaning, and not calling potential customers back.
Also this customer had his friend find me online. I guess that's another lead from rcia, and two more people who now know who I am, my customer and the guy who found me!
