Have any of you guys ever done any condo cleaning?

Are they getting multiple bids?

Do you know the other contractors?

How long do you expect it to take?

How much chem per building?

How much is delivery charge to deliver enough to cover the entire association?

Do they even have an area to secure 10+ barrels of SH safely where the public cant access it or do you have to only bring what you are going to use?

Do they require WC and if so do you carry it?

Do they have gutters?

These are just a few of the questions that you have to take into consideration when bidding condos or apartments.

Depending on the circumstances it actually sounds kinda low compared to what we would probably bid it for. Its only $207 per unit, which is exactly how you should present it in your bid. You give them a total price, and a "per unit" price. That way when they present it to the homeowners the pill is easy to swallow.

Best advise I saw in this thread. Everything that Scott just mentioned is pretty much everything that we look at when considering putting a bid together on a Multi Unit job.  Very Nice Scott...

On a side note: This thread was started back in July....What was the outcome Brad?

I've done my due diligence on all those points and more... except going out and measuring each building. I can tell pretty much what I'm looking at chem wise and am fairly confident that I have that number handled. My chem supply company can deliver everyday what I need at the same price I'm paying now to go get it. They have a pump truck that travels around do SH deliveries. So that's not so much an issue.

Yes I have GL & WC.

On my project, though I have plenty of time to complete it, I do have to be concerned about several factors like we can't work weekends, locked into 8-5, potential mandatory shutdowns for drought conditions, etc. Even if I average only 1 building per day, we're looking at 10 months. With two crews working if I only get 1 building done a day... I should probably apply at McD's.

I'll let everyone know if I get it and how it turns out.

Off to complete my profile. Will be joining after Christmas. (Times are tough and I have to make the Holiday nice first)

I'd like to know how Brad faired as well... shoutbox.gif
